The Life in Pictures short film competition is now open, inviting film makers to submit a two-minute film to show the world that age is just a number.
Entries that use creative storytelling to challenge perceptions of ageing and start the conversation of how seniors add value to communities by contributing to families, culture, the economy, volunteering and tourism are highly sought.
Life in Pictures is open to individuals and organisations, in three categories (under 17, 18-59 and 60 and over) with a total prize pool valued at up to $20,000. Prizes include Screen Producers Australia membership and registration at Screen Forever 2017, Black Magic cameras and software, AFTRS courses, cash and more prizes are being added.
The winning films will be showcased in a special screening and prize presentation held during the Revelation Film Festival in July 2017 with additional screening opportunities via local government events and platforms. The five shortlisted films in each category will be made available in a special category on REVonDEMAND.
Entries close 5:00pm Wednesday, 31 May.
